Intel i225-V «Foxville»
Компания Intel готовит сетевой контроллер нового поколения под названием i225-V «Foxville», который должен стать первым контроллером с пропускной способностью 2,5 Гбит/с, предназначенным для массовых клиентских продуктов. Заметим, что 2,5-гигабитный Ethernet предъявляет те же требования к сетевым кабелям Cat5E и Cat6, что и 1-гигабитный интерфейс.
